Hokitika seemed to me just like the rest of small NZ towns. For the short time we were there, i got the idea that this place is the place to buy genuine jade stuff (i was told that the cheap jades sold elsewhere are not made in NZ). We did check out the Jade Factory to see how jades are cut and polished and so on. |
