After spending the first week of our honeymoon in the Arenal region of the rainforest, it was nice to get clean and cozy at the beautiful Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort on the Pacific Coast. As we travelled towards the end of the dry season, the surrounding landscape was very brown; quite a contrast from the previous week in the jungle. |

Loved reading about all your encounters with resident animals--wild and otherwize!! I'd visit Costa Rica just to have the experience with all of them from dolphins to pigs. The iquana story is so funny! |
