Unfortunately, we only spent a couple of hours in San Jose, at the end of our 2 week Honeymoon. We arrived in the afternoon, and spent a couple of hours wandering through the downtown area, including the local market, pictured here.

Be forewarned, as with any big city, things can change in a heartbeat. We were wandering through the streets searching for a pair of shoes for hubby, when all of a sudden we looked around, and had the sudden feeling we weren't in Kansas anymore. We had gone from the shopping district to the bad part of town very quickly, and without realizing it.
