The Cardiff coat of arms consists of the Welsh red dragon on its hind legs holding a standard bearing three chevrons on a red background, the dragon is behind a leek which is the floral emblem of Wales. The crest portrays a Tudor Rose on three ostrich feathers (badge of the Prince of Wales) rising from a mural crown. The supporters, a goat and a sea horse represent the mountains and the sea.
