Copenhagen (København)

by grayfo - last update: Mar 8, 2007

Copenhagen is the liveliest of the Scandinavian capitals, with many things to see and do all the time. With Europe’s longest pedestrian mall, it is also the first to offer street after street free of motor vehicles and exhaust fumes

We only went past Copenhagen, having chosen to see Odense instead. We'll certainly have to go back there, if only to see the Little Mermaid.

I was also surprised with how small The Little Mermaid was! If we hadn't taken a boat tour, we would have never seen it. Really like your collection of old Copenhagen postcards--they're great! How old are they?

Nice pictures of a place I hope to one day visit. Thanks for the London Pub tip too!

I am going to Copenhagen in March 2005. And like all other tourist I will look up the little mermaid statue and probably be mad at myself for wasting the time..lol. Kind of like Mannenkin Pis in Brussels.
