The coat of arms consists of a red Rose green between rose petals and around seeds on a silver background. To the top is a red band showing a gold manacle between two white Roses, green between rose petals and around seeds. The crest consists of a knight's helmet indicating a municipality with red and white colours, topped by a silver Falcon with a red Cord tied around its neck. The supporters show a silver hart with an iron collar and chain over its back and a black Bull with a gold Collar and chain over its back. The motto refers to the Tudor rose a combination of the Yorkshire white and Lancashire red roses. The arms were granted in 1939.
