Clarion Hotel Copenhagen has only been opened since Sept 2003 (8 months) so it was pretty much a brand new 5 star hotel. I booked it through an online web site so I think I got a pretty good package deal. I stayed there for 8 nights and had a great stay.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with directions, bus times, ordering taxis etc.
The non-smoking room I stayed in was great. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable I.ve slept in and the funky design of the washroom was not like anything I'd seen.
The only down side to this hotel I would say is the distance to downtown Copenhagen. It's about 5km away and a bus stop is right out front but it was a bit of a pain to take the bus back and forth all the time and the last bus from central station to the hotel ran at around 12:40am so I had to take a taxi on the late ones.
Unique Qualities: Free internet access from your room if you can plug in and a shared computer in the lobby if you can't.
