Ah yes, packing for another overseas adventure. Thank God I'm doing this to go on vacation, I need it after all this mess!

As for Bangkok, it can be a very frustrating city.

On the one hand, you love it. You love the excitement, the electricty in the air, the smiling people, the wonderful bargains, the sweet coconuts.

On the other hand, you can find yourself wishing you were home after walking in the oppressive heat and humidity for merely an hour or after hassling with a taxi cab driver that want to take you "chopping" at his very special discount place.

But, for me, Bangkok's pros far outnumber the cons and I just love it. I haven't been for 3 years but hope to journey back soon.

I'm uploading some of my old pictures but please bare with me. The quality leaves a little to be desired because I just shot them with the digital rather than scanned. This is much faster although we lose a generation of the quality. If I had to scan them, I'd probably never get around to it!
