White- (Out) Blue City

A freezing lion guarding the Feldherrenhalle
A business trip gave me the opportunity to visit the Bavarian capital after not having been there for almost 15 years.Sightseeing opportunities were limited, mostly because I had to work during daytime, but also because a wintry weather system was dropping a huge amount of snow on the city.
Munich's City Hall
Certainly one of Munich's most photogenic buildings -- the city hall on Marienplatz. In the background are the 2 spires of the Frauenkirche.
Munich Skyline
The city's skyline as could be seen from the cafeteria of the Federal Patent and Trademark Office where I was holding a seminar.

Another great page, Win! Indeed, the Florentine palace is a great structure -- one can really see the Italian architectural influences in southern Germany.
