| A freezing lion guarding the Feldherrenhalle |
A business trip gave me the opportunity to visit the Bavarian capital after not having been there for almost 15 years.Sightseeing opportunities were limited, mostly because I had to work during daytime, but also because a wintry weather system was dropping a huge amount of snow on the city. |
| | Certainly one of Munich's most photogenic buildings -- the city hall on Marienplatz. In the background are the 2 spires of the Frauenkirche. |
| | The city's skyline as could be seen from the cafeteria of the Federal Patent and Trademark Office where I was holding a seminar. |
