Tales of a closed Cathedral

Canterbury Cathedral
I finally made it!!! This July 2005, in my 4th attempt, I was finally able to see the Cathedral's interior. At all other occasions, I had either been late or the Cathedral had been closed for public access due to special celebrations. So in order to avoid disappointment, I recommend to come early as the famous church may close as early as 5 PM. The Cathedral grounds, however are open until 9 PM in summer.
The Cathedral's Nave

The Proof

Canterbury Cathedral is a typical Gothic style church with soaring pillars and a fair amount of light inside. For disabled access, please see my respective tip.

This year, I also managed to meet up with VT friends living in the area. We had a very enjoyable dinner at the Cafe Uno.
