I miss the mountainous place where I came from, but i like the life in this tiny island where I am now.
This photo is another stonewalled rice terraces located in the municipality of hungduan, Ifugao (my hometown)and15 km away from Banaue and 55 km from the capital town of Lagawe.
Mt. Napulawan is located also in the municipality of Hungduan, Ifugao. This mountain is very accessible to mountain trekkers. Conquerors of this peak are fascinated by the thick tropical rain forest and its rare flora. Trees near the peak are unusually short.
Dating back to history, it's here where Gen. Tomoyoki Yamashita, the Tiger of Malaya, sought refuge at the end of World War ll.
Rising at 2,642 m above sea level and more than 300 km away from Manila.
