Colorado is famous for its sunshine and champagne powder snow. The story on the snow is as follows. The Colorado mountains get their snow from Pacific Ocean storm fronts. The storms firstly drop their snow in the California mountains ( Sierra sludge ) and loose some moisture. Then the storm fronts do the same in Utah again loosing more moisture. So theoretically Colorado snow has to be the dryest .. |
