One of the most impressive mountain groups in Canada! The highest and most beautiful parts visited by thousands of people every year are Jasper, Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks as well as the Willmore Wilderness, Mt. Robson, Mt. Assiniboine and the Kananaskis Provincial Park. Some extended icefield also joins this region namely the Columbia, Wapta, Troshfield, Cambell and the Clemenceau Icefields. The most beautiful glaciers are the Athabasca and Mastodon Glacier. There are numerous beautiful falls and rivers all over the Rockies the most impressive ones are definitely the Takakkaw (380m) and Panther (183m) falls.

We have been known each other for a while thanks to a mutual VT friend, Andras. First of all a huge thanks to David (dabidc) who had given me tons of useful info before I arrived to Canada. During my first weeks I had some difficulties since I had no my own transport but finally everything went well.


We met personally in Calgary for the first time and after a great tour around town we headed to the mountains (Kananaskis Lakes) by car. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have seen this beautiful corner of the Rockies without David. Thank you so much again.
