Brisbane has it all. The beautiful weather, great shopping, fantastic night life, funky coffeehouses and cafes, a paradise beach (although it is artifical) quiet parks and reserves, museums, art galleries and in my esperience the worlds best public transport!

Brisbanites (locals) must be the smartest people in the world. They work in the city, get the job done and then they have the difficult task of deciding whether to visit the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast on the weekend! Or if driving an hour to one of the coasts is a strain they just head to Southbank to lounge on the beach and eat ice-cream while they ponder which cafe has got the best table in the sun for lunch!

The best way to get a broad view of Brisbane is to jump on a City Cat and do a full trip up the Brisbane River. It doesn't take long and you will get some great photos.

Pack a picnic and have a BBQ in one of the beautiful parks. Take a cricket set and an eski full of beer and everyone will think your a local!

There are heaps of pubs, bars and night clubs, if you get good service leave a tip. The people are very friendly, if you get lost just ask anyone in the street or shops, they'll help you if they can. When you visit Brisbane, relax, take it easy and enjoy everything it has to offer.
