AJK Tourism has some very decent accommodation available in Kutton, Keran, Sharda and Kel. Booking has to be done in advance from Muzafarabad, and you will have to specify dates when you would be reaching where and staying in which location. Hotel rates are very reasonable (Rs. 800 to Rs 1000 per night).

If you want to, camping facility is also available.

Unique Qualities: They will also prepare meals for you. However you need to let them know in advance what you want to eat as it takes time to arrange certain food items. For example when we ordered eggs, they went to the market and discovered all eggs were sold out :)

Hot water is also available, but again you will have to let them know a day before as it takes time to boil the water over firewood.

I would recommend Kutton and Sharda location for your stay and base camps, as both are located in very picturesque locations.
