"Matsushima - Bay of Islands" a Matsushima Travel Page by FelixB

During my three weeks in Tokyo I spent one week travelling through the country. One of the 3 nicest landscapes in Japan is Matsushima and its pine covered islands. So I went to Sendai with the Shinkansen. Really nice. But I looked out of the window and it was all grey and rainy. Sometimes snow. So I thought, this is gonna be quite cool!! The whole trip the weather was bad, but when the little train from Sendai reached Matsushima-Kaigan station suddenly the clouds vanished and the sun came out. So I thought, this is gonna be quite cool!! I then went onto an island and walked through the woods cause I could always take the ferry trip through the bay later. However, the minute I left that island and bought a ferry ticket it began snowing and soon later raining. I just thought, this sucks...

By the way, this whole weather story repeated itself when I wanted to go to Fukushima on the way back. That's why I eventually didn't go there.
