Luggage And Bags: If you are going to stay in a hotel a hard-top case is probably ok if not best. But if you are on the road or staying at fales a waterproof backpack would be best. Fales don't have walls or doors so something like a lock would be reasonable to bring along as well.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Samoa is hot n humdid all year round so short sleeved clothes are most suitable. For dinner in a better hotel long trousers would be good. When you're walking through the bush sneakers or the like a good enough.
Due to mosquitos wearing long sleeved clothes on other occasions is also good ;-)
Toiletries & Medical Supplies: Insect repellent is a must. Also the usual stuff you would bring along like aspirin.
Sunblock: The ozon layer around Samoa is compared to the Northern hemisphere thin, but not as thin as in Australia/New Zealand. So you should have a sunblock with a factor of around 20.
Photo Equipment: You can buy films there but don't be too picky as they won't have everything. A digital camera is probably best
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Trunks, snorkeling gear, bikini etc., of course.
Miscellaneous: Hmm, maybe fun. Yeah that'd be good!
