I work for the Library for Congress Field Office in Jakarta, Indonesia. Library of Congress (in Washington D.C., USA) is the largest library in the world. I have been working for the library for almost 14 years. I worked my way up from just a mere computer operator (a grade 4) to my current position (a grade 10), one step at a time, facing every challenges along the way.

During those 14 years of employment in the library, I have traveled around the world and mostly they are related to my duties in this office.
I have been to the very north part of this earth (that is Alaska, this time was on a holiday) to the south part (that is Brazil, but not that south actually), and from east to west, spanning in 4 continents.
I am really fortunate that I was able to travel to various cities and countries around the world. You canęt say that all and every travel that I made were a pleasant one. In my experience, every travel has its own difficulties and challenges, every travel has its own ups and downs, and every travel has its own memories. In the end, itęs just a journey of my life.

I am married and have three children. Mostly on an official travel I didn't had my family travel along with me. It was not just because of the difficulties of getting every member of the family could agree on the same schedule, but also I didn't like my focus on my duties/assignment during the official travel distracted with family matters. That's all.

My hobbies are: Photography, Gaming, Jet-ski-ing, Travelling, Bowling, Movies, and Reading.
I like photography so much (that's why I list it first) that I always bring a camera either an DSLR or pocket digital one with me wherever I go.
When I am travelling abroad, I always spare my time just for taking pictures of the place, the culture, and the people of the country that I visit.
