In the beginning I am the youngest in my family, I have a brother Jim and three sisters, Margaret, Patricia and Helen. My mother Sadie is still getting out and about however my dad Jimmy died when I was fairly young. We have mostly always stayed in the North of Glasgow, apart from a very early spell in Kinning Park. I was born in Oakbank hospital, it's no longer there, but it was just off Possil Road at the start of Garscube Road. I have been married before but at present am getting along fine on my own, heavily involved in the computer industry and often out of the country now. A big sports fan especially football. |
| | The Family I don't get to see my family as much as I used to, for various reasons. I see my sister Patricia as she lives fairly local to Glasgow, and my sister Margaret comes over from Donegal occasionaly, she even visited me in Holland. I have a few nephews and nieces, Sharon, James, Jillian all belong to Margaret, Craig and Gary are Patricias, Simon is Helens and Katie is Jims, they in turn have their own. Sharon has Nicole and Kyle, James has Jamie, Jordan and William, Jillian has Ryan and Craig has Ainsleigh and Chelsea. |

| | My wee ma' Been updating some of my pages and was going to take this off - does not seem like 2 years since this happened, have decided to leave it on in respect.
Just a wee update, my mother passed away on 4th august this year - total surprise. I could say lots of things about her, all of them good, there is an old saying that only the good die young, well my mum was not young but she was good and will be sadly missed by all of us.
Hate having to add updates such as this but my sister Patricia suddenly passed away a few weeks ago, not a lot more I can say except it's not a good time. |
| | Mess me aboot and this is who you answer to !!! This is my mate Jan, she is from Bonnie Scotland but now staying down South - she is the life and soul of many of a party and does partake in a wee sherry or six - Anyway if I didnt get this on here my life would have started to really go downhill fast !!! |
| Mashy, Neilly and Big Richey |
| | A few of my friends at the races Went to Ayr races a few weeks ago - had a great day out, this is my friends in a wee bar in Ayr before the racing started. |
| | Pop !! My grandfather - Patrick Doherty, who we all knew as Pop was a Donegal man who lived in The Garngad, but I recently found out that after the Glasgow Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum was renovated there are new plaques to list people who have died or who had contributed to the renovation fund - so when my sister Margaret was over recently from Donegal with her grandson Ryan we popped over and found his name on the plaque - very nice to have found it. |
