Cape Town Revisited It has always been a dream of mine to visit Cape Town and so I made it my New Year resolution for 2004. I had such a fantastic time and enjoyed myself so much that i went back again in 2005. If people want to think that I'm corny for saying that I had the time of my life, then tough because I had the holiday of a lifetime. Everywhere I went I met helpful and friendly people. I did everything that I wanted to do such as paddling with the penguins at Boulder Beach and visiting Table Mountain (the easy way by cable car). I even abseiled off which is someting that I would recommend anyone to do (see my Table Mountain tip for more details). The food everywhere was excellent, the wine unbelievable and the scenery breathtaking. Cape Towners - you have got a city to be proud of! |
Sitting in the sunshine watching the world go by The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is a shopper's haven. There are many places to eat and it is great to sit in the sunshine and people watch. Around the harbour there are many sealions and they, like us, also enjoy basking in the sunshine! |
