traditional Thai Dance
Being lucky enough to go finish my high school and go to college in America, I have lots of Thai friends even my first college roommate was a Thai. Through them and through the Thai Students' cultural night, I had learned my aspects of Thai culture. My Thai roommate was also a whiz in the kitchen and he always made delicious Thai dishes. All these made me want to experience the real Thailand.

My opportunity finally arrived. I finally went to Bangkok. It was a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the city, its people, and the food. Needless to say, as so many people have said before, I will definitely come back and explore more of Thailand!

Friendly Faces

You can find friendly faces all over Bangkok. The Thais are naturally friendly to foreigners. Even when they speak little English, they always seem eager to help you. Something that cannot be said to all the people of the countries that I've visited.

Tropical Fruit Paradise

As a tropical fruit fan, I was in heaven in Bangkok. Lots and lots of mouthwatering tropical fruit and they can be found anywhere. From the free tasting booth at the airport, to local markets, fancy gourmet supermarkets, and the best of it all: the fruit market on Phahonyotin Road. Oh, I can still taste that mouthwatering Durian mon thong!

Pros:"the fruit and food, shopper's paradise, friendly people"
Cons:"the city is quite dirty and messy, congestions everywhere + it's rather hard to find a place to cross the street :)"
In A Nutshell:"Once is never enough"

We bought jewelrey from GEMS, discovered we could have paid less for a bigger saphire and more diamonds from a little boutique at the mall on the rivercruise pier.
