I will cover Rhodes Old town but I thought I'd start with Haraki, a 2 street village between Faliraki and Lindos. I've now visited here twice and think that it's the nicest resort on Rhodes.
A decent (ish) pebble beach, excellent tavernas and a few quiet bars - a good place to unwind |
| | Handy for Lindos and with buses to Rhodes Town, its a good base on the island away from the tourist madness elsewhere. It's not completely untouched of course, there's draft beer in the 4(?) bars and one has got a BIG screen for the sports! |
Walk up to the castle for some wonderful views of the coast all the way to Lindos and down into Agathi beach....
Take water and use the steps, not the goat track that we used!!! | | |

| Pros: | "Peaceful, friendly and within walking distance of Agathi Beach" | | Cons: | "Might be too quiet for some" | | In A Nutshell: | "One of those places that casts a spell on you and you don't know why!!" |
