Favorite Thing: It could be very crowded so bring some water along if there is a spring. We had a bad weather so the only thing everyone needed was umbrela. Do not forget to bring a lot of patience along with you and just hope you will soon be the one to enter the Vatican doors. Ofcourse inside a guard will be waiting you ... so do not bring any weapon along ;)
