Why I went in Rome?

Visiting Rome for 2 days was actually a birthday gift for me. Although a little quick (since I have a birthday in 4 weeks) but from the heart. So I decided to show this present on vt and to tell you that Rome really impressed me and why ...

So many different things to see and so many variety of architecture to feel ... I could say Rome is an romantic city with rich past and interesting background.

Starting

We went from Slovenia (Ljubljana) by bus and the driving was exhaustingly long. It took us about 12 hours (too long if you ask me) to reach the city of Rome. We were travelling at night and since me and Saso were sitting at the back of the bus and had 5 seats for ourselves ... let`s just say we could get a normal nap ... ;)

Arriving in Rome ... and first exploring the Vatican city.

Then walking trough the streets of Rome.
Then arriving in the hotel and a warm dinner.

The next day again exploring the Rome`s secrets and after 5 hours returning home (Slovenia). Again a long way on the road ...
