That's what it says on the license plates---and its quite true. Saba is an island of awe-inspiring beauty. Its really just a mountain jutting out of the sea, with no beaches and almost no flat land---except the shortest commercial runway in the world! The hiking is rugged and spectacular, the Dutch/Carib communities charming, spotless and welcoming. Even the dogs are healthy and clean, and its easy to believe the local's claim that crime is virtually non-existent. The reefs are protected by the Saba Marine Park, making the diving some of the best in the Carribean. No beaches means that most of the folks who come here are serious divers or hikers, making it an idyllic little paradise.
