Restaurant Name: Rosebud
Rosebud on Rush is nicely located at the intersection of Rush and Superior Streets. There is outside dining available, which is nice for people watching when you are dining on your own. Those who know me, know that I'm not a huge person when it comes to food and eating. I rarely finish my meal when I go out to eat. However, the entree I had at this restaurant was phenomenal. I almost cleaned my plate, which is next to a first for me. I ordered a house salad and the chicken cacciatore. I did wait 25 minutes to be seated and my waiter did not have his act together, but the entree made up for all of that.
Favorite Dish: Chicken cacciatore. It was extraordinary. I highly recommended. After I was finished, the waiter told me that I made a fine choice and ordered one of the best dishes.

Restaurant Name: PF Chang's China Bistro
I'm not one for Chain restaurants. However, I have heard the food here is quite good, so I thought I would give it a shot. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. It seemed like a very popular spot. There is a bar area when you enter as well as an upstairs seating area. For a Friday night, the wait was about 45 minutes for a table.
Favorite Dish: I ordered a hot and sour soup. It had the right bit of spice to leave that burning sensation in your mouth once your done. For my entree, I ordered Chang's Spicy Chicken. It was great. It was sort of like a General Tzaos, but even better. I also ordered a piece of cheese cake. For a chinese restaurant the cheesecake was quite excellent. The perfect combination of smooth and creamy. A very good meal.

Restaurant Name: Riva on Navy Pier
Riva's is located by the water on Navy Pier. The offer a fine dining restaurant, which is on the second floor overlooking the ocean. The other option is to each at Riva's Cafe, which is on the first floor. Riva's Cafe has a bar and outdoor seating. The food was on the average and service was very slow. However, the view and location are very nice. The slow service did not bother me too much, because of the great view.
Favorite Dish: I ordered the Cajun Tilapia with couscous. The Tilapia was very good, but the couscous tasted like it was not even cooked all the way through.
