Anasco is on the western coast of Puerto Rico. I've been to this part of the Island twice, both times in January. I was here for business, otherwise I may never have made it a tourist stop.

To get to Anasco you have to take a "puddle jumper" from San Juan or take a 2 hour car ride. The city of Mayaguez, one of the largest cities on this part of the island, is also located here. There really is not much tourism, but the western side offers good feel for life and industry in Puerto Rico when you visit.
