Just to let everyone know as of today Aug, 2006 the metro is still not finished. My apartment is in front of the Anadolu Lise stop at the end of the line and there is still much work to be done. None of my friends are sure when it will really open.

I lived in Turky, Adana and Istanbul for four years in the 60s. I had a number of good Turkish friends in Adana. One was named Aburus, the family were cotton brokers.
