Portland was about halfway up north between Cape Cod Massachussetts and Bar Harbor Maine. My legs yearned for more movement than repetitive braking and gas pedal pushing. Also my stomach was asking with moans to be filled with something scrumptious. Portland was one of the larger spots on route so we decided it would be fit for recharge. Didn't really get an intimate feel for the city due to the stomach controlling the optic nerves and dwindling time to check in at the campsite in Maine. Weaved through streets a bit and checked the waterfront, other than that it was LOBSTER AND CHOWDER unexpected meeting with my innards.

Casco Bay Ale Favorites (1)
