Another town, well city, situated on a picturesque river. The River Main cuts through Wurzburg acting as a first defense to the castle up on the hill, Marienberg. Bi-secting the city from the Castle, the river is lined with parks, as homes and shops pack against park lines to form walls to this earth scar.

Things To Do: Walking to Festung Marienberg

We crossed the River Main via the Marienbruck (bridge) giving oue sneaker soles a workout. Elevation gained as our body angle resembled that of Homo Erectus to counter-act the earth angle. Burning lactid acid warmed the leg muscles passing buildings newly renovated or buildings that stepped up to first stage decay. Along the path up we passed through many archways mimicking my entrance to the world, opening to all new surroundings.

When you penetrate the fortifications and get inside walk all around, moats and all. These vines are doing some great things around here adding to the "I'm old" notion that these walls were trying effortlessly to potray.

S'mo of tho moats fo yo fool. Again there was a silence engulfing our presence and we sat making camera adjustments, and cleaning the lens that accured a nice dust build up by now as the birds were the only break in sound. These paths were less populated than the other areas. Grass was thick and billowy in these halls and make for a great stage for a picnic.

The sun was streaming down just right. Rays clashed against the bronzing igniting the statuette that topped the basilica. Pulling a fast one on the lighting meter.

Things To Do: One more Marienberg

Gutter systems in America are boring. Plain white aluminum trouffs attach to the ends of roofs funneling runoff to a shaft known as a "downspout". There is no excitement of the movement of water rather an unclaimed voyage to hide the liquids from view. Japan on the other hand would use a more attractive gutter shape with a more impressive material pushing the water to a downspout of chainlinks so the water gently drips down from the rooftop, this is what I would prefer on my house. Germany and Europe irrigate there runoff to these gargoyles who spit the liquids off the building which tends to give the building soul and character as a storm ingnites life and great movement.

Things To Do: Walking to the Vineyard

Marienburg offers options. Theres a round trip route one can embark on rather than backtrack over steps already taken. I hate to backtrack, its a regression and a review of the alredy seen. Cooming up through the streets and hills was our choice direction and to avoid repeditive backgrounds like when the Flintstones go driving, we scoured the palace for another escape route. Acting as a sheep, we followed the tide of humans and passed them up through this doorway. The elevation started dropping dramatically as eyes were fixed on the surrounding hills. We are now on the Vineyard Route.

Things To Do: The Vineyard Walk

Sounds a little limp-wristed, but a passion of mine is wine. The rows and rows of grapes is a pattern of striation that I never mind the reconstruction of nature. The hills do go bald, which every man fears, but a new hair wig fills in. Trees do look great, but vines affect all my senses, I can see them obviously, touch them, hear the crushing of their babies and the cling of the glasses followed by "PROST", I get a wiff of the taste with a swirl and a sniff, and finally these vines litter my insides with their afrodisiac and sweet but dry flavors. Moseying through the vineyards will bring you back to the civilization down in the city of Wurzburg. Make it a point of using this path, either going up or the inevitable coming down.

Things To Do: St. Marys Chapel and Marktplatz
|
Tip Rating: |

If one comes to Wurzburg one can assure themselves that they will pass through MarktPlatz at least once. St. Marys Chapel dominates the shorelines of the market with its overbearing red spire, I'm not sure of its makeup but looks like the stone Native Americans wet and painted under their eyes. Behind the church is the Tourist Info center in a almost garrish roccoco building. The single most must see iin the Marketplace is this little sausage stand cetrally located. I was intrigued in the Sausage serving technique of the two woman behind the glass. The one woman would grab the sausage, size specified by the customer, crack in half and lube it up with a choice sauce all in one swooping move. Years of practice professionalized her handling of a long stuffed intestine lining and this thought provoked my trigger finger to push record on the camera. I was going to make it sexual, for I am immature, but was abruptly shut off with the servers quick camera shy waving of her "NO" finger. I bought the product, took a bite overwhelmed in taste and came to the conclusion that she winced at being recorded with fright that I may steal her halfing technique and export the ideas over-seas. Or maybe the woman didn't want to be filmed being so harsh to a phallic object, how would she ever get a date again?

Things To Do: Secret of Sausage cracking, Marktplatz

SSSSSHHHH! This is to never leave your mouth. And if you tell, you ain't heard it from me. You heard me! Ok. As previously stated I did try to catch this on film, I was rejected and shut out. Yuki luckily got in there before the prohibition and stole this here shot. The viewer gets to see some secrets revealed by choice material. Those buns or rolls..they damn good, so firstly the Marktplatz Sausage Cracker uses frigging good rolls. Second the bend and hunkering over of the woman, must be at the correct angle. Slices bun with large sharp knife, parts bun like schucking open a oyster or clam. Uses bun like Pac-Man to grab hold of a sausage that is double the length of the soft beautiful bunion. Take knife while holding bun half and break at point of pressure letting the other hanging half snap and fall into the bun to spoon and cuddle the piece already occuppying the inner bun. Now the sauces of choice, you pick, Sausage cracker applies, and hand over some Euros and in exchange MarktPlatz SC will hand over tastiness.
