Going to Manchester was delibrate, I wanted to see how it is in the Norther part of UK.
The journey was by train and I choose to get to Preston first before going into Bury and then back to Manchester proper. Manchester offers fantastic public transport network. The city is served by two main rail stations, Manchester Piccadilly Manchester Victoria which are supported by other station around the centre.Oxford Road, Deansgate and Salford Central.
The Metrolink tram provides a link through the centre of Manchesterwith on-street stops around the Piccadilly Gardens area and at St Peters square.
The trams also run out to Bury in the North where I actually spend some quality time surveying the town
The main Bus Terminal is located within the Piccadilly Gardens area, with buses leaving every few minutes. Whenever you drop from the train station, look out for the Metroshuttle a free bus services which runs round the city centre. |
housing This picture was taken on my way from Bury back into Manchester city. It is a typical English housing, wide expanse of land and very spacious accomodation. |
| Accomodations in the Centre |
Housing When you arrive at the centre of the City, the design of the housing changes a little in other to compenciate for lack of Land space. |
