| | NNS ARADU Many things are known about the country Nigeria, but few good things are ever recorded. The Nigerian Navy with its Flag Ship shown above which belongs to the MEKO 360 class, a multi pourpose frigate with capabilities for the Anti-Air Warfare, Anti-Surface and Anti-Submarine warfare effectively participated in this years event of Trafalga 200. The Ship also pocesses capability for Naval Fire Support, and Electronic Warfare. Aditionally, she carries a ship -borne helicopter, for Anti-Submarine Warfare role, Serch and Rescue (SAR), and enhanced surveillance/detection. |
The Women were Also Present onboard What was also very unique at this years ceremony in Portsmouth was that unlike most other participating ships,..Nigerian women were given a chance and the opportunity to actively participate in the event. Later in the day, visitors from all over the world rated the Nigerian Ship, the most entertaining ship in the Fleet.
There were music, there was food..Including the Nigerian traditional foods, which attracted a lot of attention. Thanks to the women. | | | The Nigerian Women onboard NNS ARADU |
