Saint Emilion is renowned for wine, but it wasnt the wine that took me to this wined village. It was recommended by a friend who knows the place well to think it is good for the first trip in the new year. Bordeaux was my base.

    A terrible restaurant. Fries were totally cold. Medium rare steak was well done. Avoid this place.

    The wines would certainly be an attraction. Visibility can sure be bad, but when it clears.. just delightful. Some great vintages there:-)
