We don't have many high mountains or much skiing, but it does get cold. People go ice fishing on frozen ponds. The scenery takes on its own wintry beauty. Places that bustle with activity in spring and summer are more stark and desolate, and you don't have to worry about parking. It is quiet. We had plenty of snow this year for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.. |
