All roads lead to Rome I had the great chance to spend a lowbudget week in the eternal city. As my wife had to stay home working I "had to" go on my own !! Extremely hot , but sooo fantastic. I stayed at a camping, north of the city, 10 minutes by local train. Tourist all days and back to the pool for a nice swim and a few cold beers. You can find much more at my homepage : www.geocities.com/jansallander In Swedish, but lots of pictures and links for my visits to Paris and Berlin too. |

Life at a Camping Dont misunderstand me....I LOVE big cities and Rome is maybe the most beautiful of them all, but sometimes it becomes really just TOO much. So dividing your time in Rome between sightseeing and relaxing at "my camping" was just perfect. ( I had a 35-38 C week , so it was almost a matter of surviving :-) ) Meet my neigbours , a couple of Aussies and Kiwis , we had a nice night together at a pool-party. |
