Kingdom of Bahrain is a small country in Middle East with around 700 thousands population (Arabian, Indian/Pakistani, Philipino, European/American as the majority) with Manama as the capital city. It is one of the liberal/westernish countries in the gulf besides UAE.

Bahrain is quite pleasant and secure. You can find most of your daily needs. Facilities and infrastructure are good, it's developing country yet modern.

Pros:Liberal, secure, pleasant, many mall/shopping center, good infrastructure
Cons:As mostly in other Gulf countries, it's very hot in summer. Not many choices of sightseeing and entertainment places.

Is the Bus air conditioned and good for use in summer? What is the legal requirement/documentation to rent a car? Any special requirements? Or I can easily rent a car as soon as I land? What do the banks need in order to lease a car?
