An Oasis

Arad Fort

Arad Fort, an imposing historical structure
There's not much history for the Arad Fort in Bahrain but is is believed to be used by the Omanis during their brief occupation of Bahrain in 1800. The restoration of the fort is one holemark of Bahrain that I like. While Bahrain is small, I believe its dream is big as far as preserving history and nature is concerned.
This is how u sleep, lying not standing up :)

Al-Areen Wildlife Park

Al-Areen is located in the southwestern part of Bahrain's main island. It is a showcase of plants and animals, a model conservation in the arid desert. I believe that this conservation will one day make this part of Bahrain very livable in the future.

Pros:"An oasis for working across the bridge"
Cons:"Very small and gets overwhelmed on weekends"

There's an Arad in Israel, too. It means bronze (in Hebrew).
