I would have never thought to visit Howth if it hadn't been for VT. I can't believe there is such beautiful scenery a mere 30-minute DART ride away. When I show friends pictures of Howth they all remark, "This is what I imagine when I think of Ireland." They're right. The weather was a bit insane the day I went. It was sunny and windy ... then rainy and cloudy ... then it went to sunny on one side of the pier and rainy on the other. Bizarre. |
Howth (rhymes with both), is charming. You'll probably see that word used by most people who have visited Howth. It has a lovely scent of the sea in the air. Howth is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Walk around. Enjoy the sights, the smells and definitely the fresh fish. |
