It took all the willpower I have in my body not to use a famous South Park line as my title for my Kilkenny page. Seriously.

Anyway ....

I spent the day in Kilkenny after it was suggested by my friend who lives in Dublin. My friend and I road the bus down to Kilkenny and enjoyed the scenery along the way. When we got off the bus, I just had the feeling that this would be a great way to spend my day.

Kilkenny is a lovely place to visit. I encountered kindness wherever I went.

I love talking to the locals and the locals in Kilkenny were more than happy to talk! It was funny to talk about my home state (Maryland). I was told many times (in fun) that I was pronouncing it wrong. "Ah, Mary-land!"

I got smiles whenever I would tell whoever I was talking to my name (as well as my sister's). Erin and Tara. How cute. How Irish.

I felt like I fit in for some reason. Maybe it was the welcoming feeling I got while in Kilkenny. It was hard to leave - but I will be back.

Oh yes, I will be back.
