This old system still in use by the Farmers of Rajastha.You can see around Udaipur on the way to Ranakpur/Kumbalgarh if you travel in Rajasthan by Road.The water is drawn up from the well by a system of buckets, dipping into the well and conveying water up by a chain way, drawn by the bullocks power.The water is collect in a small iron pot under the wheel and then by the narrow canal, water reach in the Fields.In the photo left side one can see a local women collect water for drinking at home.
