Look at Dongtang from a bridge - Dongtang

Dongtang is far from Dandong about 50 kilometer and Fengcheng 35 kilometer. Dongtang, a very small town which you may walk over the only one street within 10 minutes, is a little known as Hot Spring. It is a developing travel town and almost every family there runs it's own family hostel with personal hot spring pools. Many travelers I have met there, are for treating skin problem or rheumatism and so on and they said it's working. So the hostels are often added "nursing home" after their name. The only real nursing home belonged to army but now it was detached as a hot spring swiming pool and different hostels after disarmament. If you are tired of city life and enjoy living with Chinese family ; enjoy bathing hot spring (original at 167°F)for treatment or relaxation whatever, I commend Dongtang. Such a travel bargain! A room with a hot tub for only $8? Maybe this is where the North Korean soldiers from Hushan are vacationing!
