WHERE THE DEER AND THE ANTELOPE PLAY Ok, not in town, but the wide open spaces surrounding Jackson is the playground for many wild animals. Human animals attack the bars, ski slopes, and spas throughout the region. You can find your cowboys and city slickers side by side in this town. The rich history and the present day decor still has the flair of the cowboy, but the boutiques and restaurants line the streets.
Nothing like a chew of buffalo jerky or a gourmet meal to get one's juices flowing. Jackson Hole has it all, from a stagecoach ride through town to 18 holes of golf at the country club and a shootout in town to downhill skiing in the winter. The Grand Tetons are nearby and Yellowstone National Park is less than 2 hours up Hwy 191. The Snake River runs below the mountains and fish are ready for the taking. |
