PACIFIC GROVE, BED & BREAKFAST CAPITAL Pacific Grove seems like the B & B capital of California. There is one, almost on every corner. Beachfront view cottages, to the Queen Anne Victorian style hotels in town. The town is mostly done in the splendor that was Victorian, with over 1200+ historic homes, done in massive colors of the rainbow, even on the downtown shopping area stores. One goes back in time viewing these ageless beauties, and Pacific Grove is also the Monarch butterflies winter sanctuary, where you can have up close inspection of these beautiful butterflies. |
| | PACIFIC GROVE SHORELINE There is a recreation trail, that runs along the shoreline and you can walk, jog, or ride a bike with the magnificent view of the ocean and the rocky shore being an inspiration to your spirit. |
LOVERS POINT How can one not be in love, when surrounded by all the beauty of nature. Lovers Point is aptly named with the green grass under the wind blown cypress tree, overlooking the towering rocks tiptoeing into the ocean waters below. | | |

In 1998 we stayed in Carmel Point but ate one eve in Pacific Grove-seafood at single story plain restaurant across street from ocean-could have been the Fishwife? Wunderbar food remembered best.
