BETWEEN SAN FRANCISCO & SACRAMENTO

Fairfield, CA. Home to Travis Air Force Base and the JELLY BELLY BEAN CANDY COMPANY. Most people don't know about Fairfield, but it is an inexpensive location with expensive neighbors. San Francisco and Sacramento are both within an easy one hour drive and the great wine region of NAPA/SONOMA is only minutes away.

A large shopping complex is in Fairfield with many shops and restaurants to meet everyone's needs. A 16 screen movie complex sits within the giant mall at the shopping complex. Outlet malls in neighboring VACAVILLE are only 15 minutes away driving on the I-80 E. for about 10 miles. Fairfield, a base for visiting all the sights of the region, is a good choice to stay overnight at reasonable prices.

Pros:Cental location for visiting from San Francisco to Sacramento
Cons:You need a automobile to go anywhere.

Love that Jelly Bean, he or she is so cute! One of my favorite snacks. The beer tour would be fun. Nice page!

Interesting page. We are heading to San Francisco later this year and think Fairfield might be a spot to visit (big Jelly Belly fans!)

I did NOT know Jelly Belly had done a portrait of the Governator! I guess I haven't been there since the recall. I can't believe someone did a VT page on Fairfield. Yours is great!
