I like Turkey very much

by ByeByeBayan - last update: Jun 13, 2005

Behind me, Ortahisar
When I started visiting Turkey, I was recommanded to visit Cappadocia. I was staying in a nice pension in Uçhisar. This quiet village is nice and pleasant, and there is a dolmus going to Göreme, Avanos and Çavusin. I had booked a single room for which I paid 15 euros per night. The cave dwelling rooms were more expensive. That was in the year 2003. Cappadocia is a magical place where I walked a lot : from Uçhisar, I would take the Pigeons valley and go walking to Göreme instead of taking the dolmus. I have also been walking in the White valley and climbing in the Rose valley. The 3 of them are gorgeous. In Spring 2004, I visited the East of the country : Diyarbakir, Mardin, Hasankeyf, Van, Tatvan and Dogubayazit. I will show you the pictures I made there.
This is the Rose valley

Those 2 pictures were taken in Cappadocia…
