My hometown

Ljubljana castle and the Cathedral towers

I was born in Ljubljana and I live there since then. I love this city.Even though it's the capital of Slovenia, it's small,has it's charm and somebody called it little Prague. I like strolling around old part of the city, sit and have a cup of coffee in one of numerous caffes by Ljubljanica river. I like to go to the Tivoli park, take a rest in the woods .

Besides travelling,my hobies are:

1. creating crafts of all sorts
I belong to a group of people which found each other on the net and are all very deep into crafts. We have monthly meetings and swap crafts among us . You can take a look at my ALBUM .
It's only in Slovene, but I think that pictures say it all.

2. listening to music
I love all sorts of music except punk,metal and opera.

3. watching movies

Something about me

My son Rok and daughter Sara

I'm a single mother of two wonderful kids.Life is testing me everyday. I've been thru very bad times , but with strong character and good will I managed to break all the obstacles that crossed my life. My parents divorced when I was 6 and I never ever knew what is father's love. He didn't care for me and mother had to work all days to assure decent life for us.
I had my first child at 17.I picked the first guy I met - idiot me.Living with my mother,my baby and going to school was very hard. I finished high school on time despite all the headaches I had everyday.
I was left alone with my son at 20 and I had to go to work to survive. With all the love I had for him I brought up a good guy, who now lives on his own and is finishing university studies.

Travelling is my passion from my early years and whenever I have time and money I try to visit as many places I can.

I work in IT as a programmer and analyst,but that is not what I wanted. Circumstances didn't allow me to be a tourist guide so instead of that I'm a tourist.

When retired I'd like to work in a humanitarian organization.I want to be a Red Nose Clown, who spreads happiness among sick children in hospitals.

My daughter

She is my sunshine. Even though she can be very stubborn ( from whom did she inherit this?::)) ) at times she always makes my day. When she's away at her father I miss her a lot. She's kind, loving,passionate.She's an artist, dances in Dance school and likes music and films like her mum.

She's only 9 at that picture, but in my opinion looks older . She's 12 now.

She is also a member of VT under nickname Sara_slo.

Update: my son graduated on June,6,2007

He is now a Bachelor of Biochemistry.
I'm really proud of him.

Tanja! No, kljub temu, da se nismo videle že celo večnost, se te še zelo dobro spomnim :))! In mogoče naju bo pot spet kdaj združila. Tvojo hčerko sem pred sicer tudi že kar nekaj časa, komaj sem jo prepoznala :). No, ob tvojem rojstnem dnevu ti želim še veliko lepega, veliko notranje lepote in iskrivih pogledov. Lp Lana
