Getting TO/AROUND: Torino has 4 stations, but the main ones are Porta Nuova, Porta Susa and Lingotto.

Porta Nuova is Turin's central rail station where trains leave from and arrive at all destinations. Its location in the town centre makes it easy to reach by public transport. It faces on the beautiful Piazza Carlo Felice, which central Via Roma starts from.

Porta Susa is the traditional through station for Milan and East and West bound trains in general. Located in Piazza XVIII Dicembre, it allows easy urban, suburban and extra-urban bus line connections.

Lingotto is a strategically important station, once only hooked up to goods junctions, it now connects Turin with Southern Italy, particularly the Cuneo area and Liguria. It has been refurbished recently and is complete with all services. It is located in the southern area of town close to Moncalieri and the "Lingotto" Conference Centre.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Città di Torino Airport (Sandro Pertini), open to commercial and international traffic, is 16 kilometres north north west of the town centre and is connected to the motor-way system via the North ring road. Present modernisation works have placed this air station in the vanguard in Europe and even more reliable and safe, beside increasing its already first class receptivity.

The "Città di Torino - Sandro Pertini" Airport is the natural arrival point for international tourism, especially during the winter season, for connection with the splendid mountain resorts of Piedmont and the Valley of Aosta.

A continuous coach service operates at the airport for Turin and vice versa.
Bus service between downtown Turin and Turin Airport with several stops enroute including, Porta Nuova main railway station, Porta Susa railway station.
    One-way fare: Euro 5,00
    Journey time: 40 minutes
    Information +39.011.30.00.611

A new railway links the airport to Turin (GTT Dora Railway Station). Departures every 30 minutes to the airport from 5:13am to 7:43pm and to Turin from 6:49am to 9:19pm. A few meters away from the air terminal, a new railway station has already been built: a comfortable pedestrian connection, only 150 covered meters away, links the station to the check-in counters on the Departures level.

Licensed taxis are for hire outside the Passenger Terminal, immediately in front of the domestic / E.U. arrivals, Ground Floor-Level Zero.
Taxis cost approximately Euro 26/42 to reach downtown Turin, and travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

Getting TO/AROUND: Turin has an efficient system of city connections whit busses and trams. Currently, the first metropolitan line is under construction. Both urban and suburban areas are served by an efficient network. Busses and trams cross the city from morning (the first departure for almost all lines is at about 05.00) to late at night (24.00).

Tickets can be bought in tobacconists, newsagents and public places who exhibit the special sign. There are various ticket possibilities: an ordinary urban ticket valid for 70 minutes; a block of 10 tickets etc…
