One place, two countires Niagara Falls is one of those few places, where you need to research two different locations to get the whole story. Since it is literally on the boarder of the U.S. and Canadian, both countries have something to offer.
I hate to admit it (being I'm American), but for most people I would suggest booking their room on the Canadian side. The American side is simply underdeveloped. However if you don't have the needed paperwork to jump the boarder, you can still have a good time and see the falls.
There is a handful of hotels, a couple of places to eat like the Hard Rock Cafe, and the park is very nice. |
Things to do You can ride the 'Maid of the Mist', walk by the falls and feel it's wrath by taking the 'Cave of the Winds Tour', enjoy the park's grounds, and for those who like to gamble the Seneca Niagaro Casino. |
Boarder hopping If you have the needed paperwork you can also walk across the Rainbow Bridge Canada. A great place to photograph the falls from, and walking is cheaper and can be faster than driving.
Photos and more tips coming soon. I just left there yesterday, and haven't even made it home yet. |
