Bali is one of those places, that are included on my "die die must go destinations". And Ubud is the "it" place for me. Love it love it.

The people of Bali are very nice, and friendly. Its a welcome treat as I was travelling solo.

The kids dressed in Balinese dress are a delight, they are playing hide and seek on the gate, and enjoyed seeing their pictures on my camera screen. There was a celebration ongoing at the Monkey Forest temple complex, and all locals are there to give offerings.

In a nutshell:The real Bali...serene and enchanting

Hi arnie, you have a very good page on Ubud! When I was in Bali, I actually wanted to go to Ubud but did not have enough time. Maybe next time I will go back there again :)

Nice page & excellent tips. Ubud is my fav place to be. Hopefully i could go holiday with my family in 4seasons Ubud be4 my trip to India and Myanmar...CHEERS.
