Just a few words about myself and my homeland

I was born and I live in Sofia.

As you may know, that is the capital of Bulgaria with a population of about 1.5 million people.

It is not the best place on the earth nor the safest, but, still, I like it here... after all, this is where I feel at home. And, there is always a place to go and to have fun. You can't get bored around here.

And guys, FYI, in general Bulgarian women are very beautiful. It is not my opinion, I have heard it from a lot of foreigners. This is one of the first things they notice here :)

Another nice thing about Sofia is that mountain Vitosha is only 20 minutes drive away. Cherni vrah is the highest peak (about 2000 meters). On the picture you can see me coming down from Vitosha mountain. Special thanks to the VT member who took it :)

If you like culture, we have some nice museums. The opera is pretty good too. Also, there are very beautiful churches in the centre of the city. In fact, on the area of 1 square km in the heart of Sofia you can find a church, a mosque and a synagogue.

OK, now about me - I love to travel. I like to see new places and to meet new people. If I had the money, I would travel most of the time :) There are so many places I would like to visit. What else, I like good food and good company as anybody else. One of my favourite things is reading. I also like to draw pictures and to play chess and I love to dance.

That should do for a start. I will try to put some more pictures from my trips and try to write a travel log or two :)))

And one more thing about me...

Me and my cat

I adore cats :))) Whenever I see them I try to feed and carres them.

Here you can see me with my cat. He is handsome but not very smart... something like the cat version of the typical character from the blondy jokes :)))

Oriental dancing is my latest and biggest passion. I am doing it for the last two years, so I still have a lot to learn before I become a good dancer, if I ever become one :)
